All Time Low’s Everyone’s Talking Tour at MGM Music Hall

All Time Low wrapped up their two-night Boston run of the Everyone Is Talking Tour at MGM Music Hall at Fenway on Sunday, 11/23, and the energy in the room felt like the perfect ending to a hometown double-header. Every band brought something different to the table, creating a lineup that felt nostalgic, chaotic, and just pure fun.

The Paradox came out swinging and immediately made you forget they were the first band of the night. They’re insanely talented. Tight musicianship, great vocals, and the kind of onstage chemistry that makes everything they do feel natural. They’re also just fun to watch. Entertaining, charismatic, and genuinely funny in a way that adds to the show instead of distracting from it. The singer mentioned that after night one he wandered over to Loretta’s and heard the Jake Ash Band playing a Johnny Cash cover, which he said he loved. It was the perfect little Boston crossover moment and somehow fit their whole vibe: chaotic, charming, and impossible not to enjoy.

Four Year Strong hit the stage with that signature New England intensity that only they can pull off. They’re the definition of consistent: every riff lands, every harmony locks in, and every breakdown feels like the best kind of hit to the chest. Their energy is unreal and lifts an entire room without even trying. They have so many great songs that they could have doubled their set and no one would’ve complained. Boston loves them for a reason, and they proved it again with a set that felt explosive from start to finish.

Mayday Parade surprised me more than I expected. This was my first time seeing them, and now I get why people swear by their live shows. They’re polished but still feel personal, emotional without drifting into cheesy, and they connected with the crowd immediately. The entire room was singing like we were all revisiting versions of ourselves we forgot about. Their set had this warm, nostalgic glow to it, and by the end they had completely won me over.

All Time Low closed out the night with the kind of confidence that comes from being a staple in this scene for almost twenty years. They’re playful, chaotic, and sharp all at once, and they make a big venue feel like an intimate show. The setlist was stacked, the banter was ridiculous in the best way, and the whole performance felt like a celebration. All Time Low and Four Year Strong were two of the bands that kicked off my emo phase when I was younger, so seeing them together again hit in such a full circle way. They’re still that band, still the blueprint, and still impossible not to love live. All Time Low are just a blast, plain and simple.
