Letdown. Releases New Track + Music Video "Hate Myself" via Big Loud Rock

Friday, February 23, 2024 - Breakout alt-rock sensation Letdown. has shared his relatable newest single “Hate Myself” and the official music video directed by Max Moore (All Time Low, JXDN) that’s bound to cause any Human Resources officer to weep (via Big Loud Rock). Speaking about today’s release, Letdown. mastermind and visionary Blake Coddingtoncommented:
“The concept of self-loathing revolves around acknowledging that one's life has reached a nadir and ultimately embracing this reality. Engaging in a futile struggle against intrusive thoughts proves to be counterproductive, as one succumbs to their influence and reacts in manners they have long yearned for. It is a sentiment shared by many, this desire to revolt against the monotony of our existence, yet we comprehend that improvement lies on the horizon.”
When asked about the music video, Coddington shared:
"'Hate Myself'" was an absolute blast to shoot. The video showcases the impact of intrusive thoughts taking control in a typical, stressful real-life situation. With brilliant direction from Max Moore (All Time Low, JXDN), the video comes to life in a way that brilliantly captures the innermost desires that we all share to break free from the mundane and let our hair down. The experience of shooting this video was truly unforgettable and I can’t wait for everyone to see it!"
Letdown. increased his audience globally last year with tours in Europe and the US as well as making festival rounds at Summerfest, Louder Than Life, and Aftershock. He kicked off the new year with his double-single “Anxiety” and “Making Miseries”, in which “Anxiety” was featured on the MTV series The Challenge. “Hate Myself” is the first taste of more exciting things to come which will lead up to Letdown.’s debut album later this year, and is the follow-up Alternative radio single to last year’s Top 20 hit “Crying In The Shower”.
